What to Include When You Write to Us

A little detail goes a long way when you get in touch. If you have a question about a route, a day trip or a destination we have covered, tell us which article you were reading and roughly when you plan to travel. Conditions around Lake Erie change a lot with the seasons. A lakeshore drive that is easy in July can be a different trip in January, when lake-effect snow moves in. Knowing your timing helps us give you a more useful answer.

We are glad to hear about the following:

  • Corrections and updates. Trails close, ferries change their routes and small-town cafés move or shut. If something in a guide is out of date, let us know what you found and when you visited.
  • Destination suggestions. We are always looking for overlooked corners of Ohio and the wider Midwest: a quiet state park, a lakeside town worth a weekend, a scenic back road between two cities.
  • Packing and planning questions. If one of our packing lists left you wondering what to bring for a specific trip, ask. Good questions often turn into new guides.

Please keep in mind that Nehora Travelers is an independent travel journal. We do not sell tickets, book accommodation or act for any venue, tour operator or tourism board. For opening hours, reservations, prices and event dates, the official website of the place you plan to visit is always the most reliable source. Check it shortly before you set off.

We read every message, though replies can take a little while during busy travel months. While you wait, browse our destination pages or dig into older trip notes in the journal archive. Someone may already have asked your question.
